1JZGTE VVTi Blow Off/Recirc Valve Delete Kit Install Guide

1. Disconnect the Recirc Valve & Solenoid

  • Locate the valve on the J-pipe and the boost solenoid above it (near the drivers side guard).

  • Pinch and slide back the spring clips on the hoses.

  • Unplug the blue electrical connector and remove the vacuum lines from the solenoid.

  • Undo the 2 x 12mm nuts on the valve and the 2 x 10mm bolts on the solenoid bracket. Pull the assembly free.

2. Remove the Factory Studs

  • To remove the threaded studs from the J-pipe, use the "double nut" technique:

    • Thread both 12mm nuts onto one stud and tighten them against each other using a spanner and ratchet.

    • Turn the inner nut anti-clockwise to unscrew the entire stud. Repeat for the second stud.

3. Cap the Open Lines

  • Fit the large silicone cap to the main intake port and the two smaller caps to the vacuum ports.

  • Secure all caps using the original spring clips you saved earlier.

4. Install Blanking Plate

  • Place the original gasket and blanking plate over the J-pipe flange.

  • Secure it using the 2 x M8 bolts provided in your kit.
